Get out of your head and into your body as we joyfully dance the night away. We’ll explore both partnered and solo dance forms, celebrating music and movement while discovering rhythms and riffs to inspire our writing. No dance experience or partner necessary; two left feet welcome!

Emily Vanston

Emily Vanston is a passionate swing dance teacher, performer, and social dancer, with a diverse background in styles ranging from ballet to percussive dance. She has taught at events throughout the US and abroad, including Ashokan Western & Swing Week; Hep Cats’ Holiday in England; the Southside Stomp in Norfolk, VA; the Shake, Rhythm & Roll Festival in Asbury Park, NJ; the Flurry Festival in Saratoga Springs, NY; and Swing Out New Hampshire in Hebron, NH.
