2020 Achievements

  • Curated Poetic License, a poetry-inspired art exhibit

  • Participated in inaugural Upstate Arts Weekend

  • Launched our charitable arm: AIM Higher, Inc.

  • Kicked off our Private Mentoring program

  • Launched high-quality, low-cost Independent Study workshops & sliding scale Zoom workshops

  • Was nominated for three Chronogrammies (award for The Hudson Valley’s most outstanding establishments, nominated by its residents)

  • Held 22 online workshops serving 220 poets

  • Supported 15 teaching artists

  • Hosted six socially-distanced poetry workshops at the barn from July-December

  • Added hundreds of additional books to our lending library

  • Hosted our first resident

  • Held our first Zoom reading for the winter solstice

  • Reached over 10,000 Facebook followers
