2019 Achievements
Created a youth and young adult section at the barn
Designed a high-school poetry workshop for the Birch Wathen Lenox School in New York City
Held our first Catskill Lit retreat at The Ashokan Center, drawing 70 people over four days
Received our first grant for a free public reading
Held our first house concert
Organized a Donald Lev section in our library at the invitation of Mr. Lev’s estate
Acquired fiscal sponsor Innovative Charitable Initiatives, Inc.
Became a member of the New York Council for Nonprofits
Held 24 online workshops serving 200+ poets
Supported 20+ teaching artists
Hosted eight poetry workshops at the barn
Added an additional 1,000 books to our lending library
